Lo confessiamo, abbiamo una passione per i libri di Beatrice Alemagna.

Oggi vi presentiamo un albo di piccolo formato edito da Phaidon, “Nel paese delle pulcette“.

È il compleanno di pulcetta grassa e per l’occasione la piccola decide di invitare tutte le pulcette che abitano nel materasso, visto che non si sono mai incontrate prima. Tutte accettano volentieri, ma che sorpresa quando si scoprono una diversa dall’altra!

C’è la grassa, la magra, la gialla, quella dagli occhi grandi e chi più ne ha più ne metta. Dopo il disorientamento iniziale, le pulcette arriveranno alla conclusione che nessuna è sbagliata “non si può scegliere: si nasce come si nasce, uno diverso dall’altro.”

E soddisfatte di questa riflessione, si precipitano sulla pista da ballo perché si sa… le pulcette amano saltare, saltare, saltare!

Un elogio alla diversità e alla tolleranza con illustrazioni che invitano ad accarezzarle per la morbidezza che ispirano.
